It all started with a dream.
Young adults Dirk Naert and Mieke Vandenberghe followed their passion and founded Chocolaterie Carré. They chose a niche product: authentic liquor-filled chocolates. Some raised their eyebrows: "Why make it so difficult? And so old-fashioned!"
Because producing chocolates filled with liquor, beer, wine or cocktails is not so obvious. Dirk developed his own process that results in delicious flavor combinations of chocolate with different types of liquor fillings. Thanks to innovations with fillings based on contemporary liquors like mojito, whiskey or gin tonic, traditional chocolates with liquid fillings are even hipper than ever!
